So why "Just a guy from Jersey?"

A seminarian blog with no religious title… isn’t there something wrong with that? Perhaps, but I thought long and hard about the title of my blog… which is more than I can say about a lot of things in my life. Everything in life has a purpose, even this blog, and I guess that my purpose is to show people the one thing that I had a difficult time getting over when discerning whether I should join the seminary… the fact that priests, seminarians and religious are just normal people that God has called to serve Him. So the point of this blog is to share different things of my life, what is happening in it, things that I find interesting and random acts of just about anything. This keeps friends and family members up to date on different things that are going on, but also hopefully serves a deeper purpose for other men and women who are discerning the call to religious life. After all, I am just a guy from jersey, I love camping, watching sports on TV, hanging out with my friends and stupid movies and tv shows and God-willing after I am ordained, I will still be just a guy from Jersey. So, you will get your share of interesting religious articles, but you will also get just everyday stuff, that’s why I chose the name. Thanks for stopping by… Pax et bonum.

WHAT'S UP K-DOG?
Thanks for the hit on my blog. I miss the brothers. I've thought about you a lot lately, especially today when we remember the heroes of September 11th. No one I know embodies more the resilient and tough attitude of New York in the face of all it has been through. I thought of you when I saw "World Trade Center" too. Great film. Hope you guys are all well, and thanks for the congratulations and good wishes. Tell Cupps I said hey as well. Love you bro!
